Prosper Self Care is a very intriguing app. I really love the designs and colors this app has especially when you first open it, it feels very welcoming. I love how the app asks us questions to get to know us more like "What is your age?" and "What should we call you?". I admire how the app wants to get a insight into our day and seems to comfort us by asking us deep questions like "How was your day?" and "What's making you feel this way?". I really like how it motivates and congratulates us with new achievements and streaks which boosts our productivity. I like how it gives a feeling of "work for what you want" by giving us the ability to unlock new themes and merch by collecting more diamonds. I admire how it helps keep us on track with sending us notifications and messages for when we need to check in. I like how it helps us learn more about our selves and our body with mood calendars, mood breakdowns, and mood graphs. I like how it really shows how welcoming this app is to new ideas by allowing us to make a suggestion which gives us a feeling that our voice matters. It also gives us more control over customization with different themes and colors which I really like. I cannot express how grateful I am to have found a app like this, especially when I visited the "resources" page. Well I'm gonna talk about my experience with this app. To begin the prosper app is a very good app for people who want to listen to relaxed music to sleep or just to listen to an encouragement video or just talk about how you feel. My experience was great I first started with checking out everything and I learned that if you keep a streak, then you can get currency that you can buy backgrounds and other things and if you get a lot of the currency then you can buy their merch. Another thing is that this app provides videos that can help you relax or maybe even fall asleep and it gives you a daily check in, where you can express your emotions and a daily journal entry to see how you are doing. Also with this experience I was able to express or talk about my feelings and go back to them to see if I still feel that way and the videos helped when I was stressed and I would just lay down on my bed and listen to a video and I would calm me down and make me forget about the bad things. As you can see this app can help with a lot like if you need to write or need a daily check in to go back to to see if you are still feeling this way or just to fill out to express how you are feeling currently. Another thing this app provides is a calendar to see your progress throughout the journey that you take with the prosper app and I recommend to get this app because it helped me and it can help you to. Lastly you can be rewarded with your progress with the currency that the app gives you as I said before you can get things and it would show that you achieve something good. Using the Prosper App did increase my mindfulness of day-to-day life and my feelings about it. The mood tracking feature almost forced me to acknowledge what was going on in my head as opposed to just living blindly day-to-day. I liked that I could text in reflective word answers because it felt like a nicely organized version of on-the-spot thought. Within a week or so I was able to deduce trends in my mood and my day like never before, but I'd never taken the time to acknowledge. Ultimately, I became more aware of myself and became more confident about tackling daily stressors. The other feature that tracked a habit also contributed to my intentionality with daily life management. When it's mapped out on a calendar for you and you see little boxes filling up, it's as if they're cheering you on for maintaining habits and to the point where it becomes rewarding for you, too. Personally, I think the Prosper App is effective because it's not overwhelming. Everything is so simple and easy to read that it doesn't feel like you have more work to do. There were some days where I lacked motivation to check in but in all reality, it took less than a minute to do so and therefore there's no real excuse. If I had to recommend a change to the Prosper App it'd be adding a motivational quote or something at the beginning and/or the end of the process because it could really encourage someone at their lowest low. The Prosper App is effective for anyone who wants to become more deeply reflective, cultivate better habits and truly understand the nuances of their day-to-day existence.
My time using the prosper app from this past month has been a really good experience. Some of the activities on the app really help with my well being because I can journal my day and do daily check ins. I think this really corresponds to my mental health because checking in everyday and tracking my mood I can reflect back from the past and see how much growth I have done. There is also a journaling activity where I can record and reflect on my day as for an example I record accomplishments or things I need to work on so I can reflect on this in the near future. Overall I think that the prosper app really can help anyone because it has helped me reflect and document my mental health and my life with only spending around 10-15 minutes each day. There are many features on the prosper app that deal with my well being the activities such as mood tracking, videos, journaling, and resources. These activities have helped me keep track of my mood and goals this has helped me to try better habits and to journal my everyday life. I can benefit from this app because I can also keep track of habits on the app and pick up new habits every now and then. This sums up how beneficial the prosper app can be it has really motivated me everyday and it is a very great way to end or start off the day just by spending a few minutes from at least 10-20 minutes everyday can change your perspective on how you will treat your day. Overall I think that the prosper app has let me develop mentally and physically it has motivated me to do more and it has helped me go out and set goals.
With all due respect, I only downloaded it because of the service hours. I'm not really all that wrecked to have this as a forever app. Hints why I missed the second week. After this is done, I'll probably delete it for more space on my phone because it is suffering right now. But honestly, I can see why people who want to improve their mental health would want to use this app. This app doesn't have any ads and it's simple-looking. If you know me, I'm a simple guy so if I ever want to cry in my bed after school, I would open the app and check in. Speaking of check in, since I'm not all that emotional when going to school because I'll forget whatever happens the next day, I'll usually pick an emotion on the happy side of things. Y'know, blessed, good, confident, supported, all that good stuff. I can't just leave it blank, I hate when I keep things blank. I would feel... incomplete, some would say. When I get to the "what's making you feel this way?" category, I would just pick family. I love my family, I would die for them and do anything for them. And probably I'll pick food and sleep depends on my mood. IDK about the friends option, my friends are a couple of knuckleheads but it's okay because they're my friends and I'm pretty much a knucklehead too (only little, I'm smarter than all of them combined). When I saw the email that talked about the prosper app and how you can get service hours, I got really interested. Reading the app descriptions, I thought "oh well another check in app to try and quit after a week", But I really needed the service hours. The way the app is set up is way different than other apps I've tried, other apps ask for more information which is a turn off for simple self care apps. So when I saw how colorful and fun looking the app was, I actually wanted to use it. So far with how junior year is going I have been feeling a little lost so I really expected this to work. It sure worked as the first week I reminded myself to do daily check-ins which made using the app more important. I added a habit reminder which was my exercise time, it helped to remind me to work out. The app is very simple to use which is great because getting ads and "premium service" payments from other apps are very annoying and unhelpful. I'm very glad I actually downloaded the app and used it. I often forget to do check-ins especially when I'm in a good mood or on the weekends when I mostly just relax. Overall using the prosper app is a great experience and I'm glad I found out about it, even if it didn't come with service hours I would've still downloaded the app and tried it out.
